Three stages of a furniture move
- 1Wrap. Sofas, beds, wardrobes and tables are wrapped to protect surfaces, corners and fabric. Bubble wrap and stretch film go on edges and delicate parts.
- 2Carry and load. Trained staff carry each piece, and load the vehicle carefully so that nothing slides or rubs against another item on the road.
- 3Place. At your new address we unload and put each piece in the room you point out, so that you do not have to move it again.
The cartons, wrapping and tape come from our packing and unpacking service, which can also open and arrange the boxes at the other end.

- Measure the widest piece, and the doors, staircases and lift at both addresses.
- Empty wardrobes, drawers and cabinets, which makes each piece lighter and safer.
- Take out glass shelves and loose parts, and keep screws in a labelled bag.
- Take photos of good furniture before it is wrapped.
